A report on industrial training carried out from Tororo district local government under the production department in the veterinary sub sector.

Abstract

My report has description of specific department of attachment, the objectives of industrial training, the background of the district veterinary office, the activities performed during the industrial training, task description, and the full title of the department, the conclusions and die recommendations.

The main reason. for doing industrial training is to practically learn the theories. that were taught in the lecture room in order to gain skills and courage when in the field with farmers. I was attached to the Tororo district local. government, under the department of production, in the sub sector of veterinary with doctor Ronald Muyomba Mugabi who is the district veterinary officer as my field supervisor. During my industrial training, I participated fully in carrying out activities like castration, debeaking, handling a dystocia case, deworming of animals, carrying out prophylactic treatment on animals, training of farmers in poultry, piggery production and others and with the knowledge and skills I obtained from it, I am now able to carry out field activities without any fear.
