Abstract:
The industrial training was carried out at Busitema university Arapai campus farm in soroti district in areas such as Crop, animal production and mechanization. The major objective of the field attachment was to. enable me to gain more practical skills, also to transform theory work into practical work. The-training involved several activities which were done. at the farm and these include identification, deworming, aging in goats, mulching, soil sterilization, disease and tick control, field marking. Different methods were used to collect data and these include personal observation, recording and interviewing Challenges were encountered during internship like Challenge of farm tools to carry out farm activities in the farm. In conclusion, besides hardships encountered during the study, the IT was accomplished and done successfully. I recommend my fellow students to take part and participate in all activities concerning crop and animal departments and the university to procure enough training materials to enable students carry practical activities in time.
