Abstract:
Industrial training was carried out at Teso collage Aloet farm in Soroti district in areas such as crop, animal production and mechanization. The major objective of the field attachment was to enable me to gain more practical skills, also to transform theory work into practical work the training involves several activities which was done at the farm and these include castration, tick control, nursery bed preparation drug identification and their mode of action, compost making and animal treatment
Different methods were used to collect data and these include observation, recording and interviewing. Challenges were encountered during internship like challenges of farm tools to carry out farm activities in the farm in conclusion, besides hardship encountered during the study the IT was accomplished and done successfully. I recommend Teso collage Aloet farm administration to procure enough training materials to enable students conduct practical activities in time.
