The placement was done at Busaba Sub-county, Butaleja district where many programs are conducted for example livestock health in the areas of animal health, animal nutrition animal breeding and apiculture, lectures, brain storming and practical sessions were carried out under the supervision of scientists and research technicians both on farm and in the laboratories. The mode of learning helped me to gain practical skills such diseases, diagnosis,
Restraining farm animals, setting tsetse fly traps, castration of goats, pigs, cleaning of the pig sty, feeding of animals, construction of goats' pen and other managerial practical skills and control of tsetse fly species in Uganda. Identifying different breeds of goats, cattle and pigs. Despite of appreciable magnitude of the achievements, I faced a few challenges such as long distances, weather conditions and limited access to equipments in the laboratories to fully accommodate overwhelming number of internship students and unavailability of modem farm structures. However, I successfully completed my internship and do recommend the entire Busaba sub-county staff, Butaleja district to increase on the labour force, stock more equipments and also provide some facilitation on drugs and transport means for the students carrying out their internship and also equipments, equip the laboratories and construction of modem farm structures for the future internship students.
