dc.description.abstract |
This report contains and explains the activities, skills and qualifications gained, challenges faced during industrial training, conclusion of report and recommendations derived from challenges faced at Nyenga. The objective of this industrial training is to make students to benefit from knowledge and skills gained from field, apply the knowledge they got from classroom in field and gain confidence in students. I was attached in two sections i.e. crop and animal section in crop, I was the leader of making urban gardens and these activities made me gain a lot of skills such as pest and disease identification. During internship, I faced challenges of limited tools, shortage of workers which slowed my work. In conclusion, both activities were carried out successful in both sections despite the challenges faced. I was in position of getting practical skills and knowledge in line with my carrier and relating with people in field. The technical advice that I provided addressed Manager's problem and needs. Much as all were successful done, there were some little challenges which hindered smooth running of activities making me recommend that proper mobilization of workers must improve to solve the problem of labor shortage. There should also be provision of working tools to solve the slowdown in working. |
