Abstract:
This part has summarized all the information contained in this report for the industrial training that I carried out in Busitema University Arapai campus which commenced 8/2/2022 - 1/5/2022, chapter one has the introduction of the industrial training Which refers to the work experience that is relevant to the academic and professional students before under taking graduation, this module is compulsory for all the students of CGA, DCP, DAP, AGB at the end of year one, and BSA students of year three and it is done in different parts of the country and students are supervised towards the end of the training and each student has to compile the report for the activities done during the exercise, chapter two has described all the activities I carried out in the sections I was attached by the farm manager under the supervision of other field supervisors, Mr. Muhindo Williams, Mr. Opesen Joseph and Mr. Ewalu Moses (crop and animal section) some of the activities I carried out include; dehorning, cleaning, field marking, feed formulation, feeding and watering of animals, cutting napier grass, disease diagnosis, aging of goats using the dental formula and many others, some of the skills I gained include; diagnosing a sick animal, dehorning, taking temperature readings, feed formulation, communication skills and many others, as I conclude, I would like to say the internship exercise ended successful, however there were some challenges that was encountered d have recommended the university to put hands on them.
