Abstract:
This report covers the entire internship and it clearly states the activities I carried out during the industrial training, knowledge and skills obtained during the entire program. Internship was majorly carried out to provide skills and knowledge obtained in practical to students, and it also help to socialize students with the other community people since they go to different training centers/ farms and institutions. This report indicates the key activities that I carried out during the internship in different section in the campus farm which comprise of both crop and animal sections as indicated in chapter two,
During the internship, I carried out various activities and I attained more knowledge and skills as shown in chapter three.
During the internship I also faced some challenges such as unfavorable weather conditions, delayed assessment, walking long distances to the sites and delayed signing of the weekly logbooks, I do recommend the University to motorize the chaff cutter other than depending on the manual hand work. I do recommend the University to renovate farm structures like cattle dips, spray race.
Though I encountered challenges but I managed them and the industrial training was successfully done.
