Industrial training report carried out at, agency for community empowerment (AFCE) Nebbi district.

Abstract

This report contains information on farm and community practice that I undertook at Agency for Community Empowerment Nebbi district, the aim was to acquire hands-on skills and experience in farm and community practice to get exposed to various farm enterprises and cultural beliefs, behaviors and norms of the community. It was for a period often weeks beginning from Monday 28th February 2022 up to Friday 06th May 2022. While in the field, I committed myself relentlessly in number of farm activities, training of farmers group, maintaining peace and justice, data collection and field monitoring. The internee had number of achievements like confidence, punctuality, communication skills. I therefore used the methodology of observation, interview and data recording. The field was characterized by poor response by the farmers, transportation difficulty. The organization should put more effort in sensitization of farmers on benefits of agriculture The organization should provide more protective gears for the field activities especially during rainy season fact, the training was a good experience and the student gained a lot of hands-on skills, I was able to correlate classroom knowledge practical experiences.
