A comprehensive report carried out at Buginyanya zonal agricultural research development institute from 28th Feb to 6th May 2022

Abstract

Industrial training is a module which is conducted outside the lecture room or out of university. It exposes students on practical skills and knowledge involve visiting agricultural oriented public or private organization such as livestock farms with technical background in terms of crops, animals and districts extension officers for acquisition of hands on skills and knowledge. The overall objective of this study was to enhance theoretical skills and knowledge. This study is normally carried out for period of two and half months. The scopes of the work study was carried out under the following main activities visiting the management of agricultural organization to seek acceptance or ,understanding the terms of making arrangement for when to start understand the organization mandated enterprise, prepare for industrial training by meeting the supervisor to share the time table and work plan, conducting the industrial training in selected enterprise, compiling the activities from enterprise like coffee, wheat, seed potato, Banana, apples and maize, writing a report and editing it, finally binding and submission of industrial training report.
