A report of industrial training carried out at Busitema university Arapai campus faculty of agriculture and animal science.

Abstract

This is the industrial training report that carried out at Busitema university Arapai campus fam during the period of 10 weeks, I was carrying these activities in both crop production and animal production and management this report contains, declaration, dedication, acknowledgement, table of contents, list of abbreviations, list of tables and figures and abstract itself. The report contains four chapters which are designed below; chapter one contains introduction of the IT. Objectives of the internship, back ground of the farm, climate and vegetation around the organization. Chapter two of the report contains all the activities carried out during the IT like mushroom production, crop production, all agro-chemicals, planting of citrus and bananas; their measurements, identification of fertilizers, assembling of sprayers, and spraying of citrus and in, animal' activities includes of pigs, treatment of small ruminants, post-mortem practice in dead animal, aging and disease diagnosis, Deworming, spraying and pasture management, chapter three of the report talks about the impacts of attachment (IT) like skills and knowledge gained, responsibilities undertaken during the IT for example castration, banana planting, citrus planting etc. Chapter four of the report contains conclusions and recommendations, appendices and references. The training ended successfully and skillful to students also the university needs to adjust on some section missing for effective studies during the period of industrial training.
