A report of industrial training conducted at Jinja district farm Nakabango.

Abstract

This report contains all details about industrial training that refers to work experiences that is relevant to academic professional development of a student. This industrial training took 10 weeks that began on 20th May to 26th July 2019 and was done to improve on the students’ knowledge, skills, and experience. This report consists of table of contents, list of abbreviations, list of tables and figures and abstract. This report all consists of activities which include orientation, nursery bed establishment and management, spraying of nurseries and banana plantation using pesticides and herbicides and watering of crops, identification of pests and diseases in banana, coffee, mangoes. These are the chapters in this report Chapter one; This contains introduction, location, historical background, future prosperities of the farm, vision and mission. Chapter two; This contain activities done during internship i.e. banana management, coffee, nursery bed preparation and management, hay banding etc. Chapter three; This contains skills gained, responsibilities undertaken influence of I.T to my future career, challenges faced. Chapter four; This contains conclusion, observation, recommendation and finally this report also contains the appendices which contain the organization structure, work plan and photos and also contain reference.
