A comprehensive report of industrial training carried out at Nakabango Jinja district local farm

Abstract

This report contains all details about industrial training that refers to work. experiences that is relevant to academic professional development of a student. This industrial training took 10 weeks that was began on 20th May to 26 July 2019 and was done to improve on the students’ knowledge, skills and experience. This report consists of table of content, list of abbreviation, list of tables and figures and. abstract. This report all consists of activities which include orientation; nursery bed. establishment and management, spraying of nurseries and banana plantation using pesticides and herbicides and watering of crops, identification of pests and diseases in banana, coffee, mangoes These are also the chapters in this report. Chapter one; This contains introduction, location, historical back ground, future prosperities of the farm, vision and mission. Chapter two; This contains activities done during internship; banana management, coffee, nursery bed preparation and management, hay banding etc.; Chapter three; this contain skills gained, responsibilities under taken influence of [IT] to my future career, challenges faced. Chapter four; This contains conclusion, observation, recommendation and finally this report also contains the appendices which contains the organization structure, work-plan and photos and also contain the reference.
