Abstract:
This report contains all details of the industrial training which I carried out for 10 weeks from 28th of February to 6th May 2022.
Chapter one summarizes the introduction, back ground, geographical location, objectives, aims of the field attachment, beneficiaries of the farm & the future prospect
Chapter two presents the description of the agronomy of soya bean, banana, coffee management and nursery bed establishment, pest and disease control on the farm.
Chapter three introduces the diseases and pest identification, controlling methods and how to work together with the farm workers and we found some of the challenges as the tools were not enough to be used on the farm and water shortage.
Chapter four presents the conclusion and recommendation. In recommendation the shortage of too s should be provided enough to the students to ease work, also more water points should be built for water provision for the crops to use at the farm,
In conclusion, the internship attachment has been so much encouraging and very necessary as it has built a very strong impact and powerful practical ideas and skills in me as far as crop and animal sector is concerned than theories taught in lecture room.
