Abstract:
Industrial training is one of the course module that introduce the students to the field in order to gain confidence, knowledge and skills. In this training a student goes out to various agricultural research and training institute of their choice. Ngetta Zonal Agricultural Research and Development institute consist of both crop and animal Production covering eight units of studies for example aquaculture, mother garden, agro forestry, goats’ unit, dairy unit, Horticulture and adaptive research.
This report consists of four chapters; chapter one indicates the introduction of Ngetta ZARDI location, climate, historical background, sector and product, beneficiary of the organization
Chapter two describe the various sections and activities carried out during the industrial training at each sections like budding citrus and grafting mango, cloning eucalyptus, making trenches.
Chapter three consists of skills, and qualifications gained, responsibilities undertaken during the training, influence of the training to my future career, challenges faced during the training and solutions to the challenges faced and finally chapter four consist of conclusion and recommendations.
