dc.description.abstract This study examined the effect infrastructure on tourism development of national game parks in Uganda. The study applied a cross-sectional research design and quantitative approach. Data was collected from 45 as a target population with accessible unit of inquiry being 40 respondents consisting of administration department, food and beverage, housekeeping and conservation department. Data was collected using a closed ended questionnaire and statistical package for social sciences was used for analyzing data from which frequency tables, descriptive statistics, reliability, validity, correlation and regression results were obtained. From the research findings there is a significant and positive effect between accommodation practices like booking, adequate and availability on tourism development, the two variables look to be directly proportional in that the more the accommodation practices, a well-developed transport infrastructure is a prerequisite for the development of tourism in this park, and there is a need of telecommunication in the organization to achieve the set target. In that, the ability to connect with different people from different parts of the world has led to development of tourism The findings further indicated that accommodation, telecommunication, and transport facilities serve as an engine for increasing tourism development in game parks. The study therefore, recommends that improvement on the tourism development depends on a proper and impressive accommodation, transport and telecommunication. en_US
