dc.description.abstract A good number of Secondary Schools do not teach English in the required way. Among the reasons for this is that some Head Teachers are afraid of spending too much money on purchasing English textbooks. This is a big problem. In an era where parents are busy working day and night to make ends meet thus having little or inadequate time to interact with their children. It is imperative that all Schools use better approaches of teaching, which inculcate good reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills and set a foundation on the best strategies of teaching English. It will be majorly to explore how teacher handle the teaching of English language. It will help me find out what teaching strategies are better for teaching English in lower secondary. en_US
