A report of industrial training at Gulu city council, production and marketing department, under veterinary sector

Abstract

This is an internship report carried out at Gulu City council, Production and Marketing Department under Veterinary Sector. The internship was for a period of 10 weeks from 22nd August 2022 to 14th October 2022. The entire report consists of four chapters i.e. chapter one, chapter two, chapter three, and chapter four. Chapter one contains mainly introduction and Consist of two parts i.e. part one which contains information about the firms background, structure size, turnover, departments, numbers of the employees, field activity /responsibilities self-concept of the organization, special regulations. Among others and bests of it all entails details of the training organization like history of the company mailing addresses, the type of the ownership of the organizations the beneficiaries and the organization of the company. Part two of the introductory section of the report provides for an outline of the activities leading to the study, objective and goal of the study and specific work or study done. Chapter two: contains information about the activities performed during the attachment period, gives adscription of the specific department of attachment like staffs available and gender makeup of the staffs, structural integrations within the department, report on familiarization phase, task description for example work results description of atypical working day. Chapter three: contains majorly impacts of the attachment giving information about social climate like work atmosphere, work climate and mentoring situation it also provides for information about the evaluation for the assigned task and individual work performance, implication for the future study and career planning among other information in the chapter. Chapter four: this is the lasts chapter and it provides for the conclusion and recommendations, reference sources of the information and appendices.
