A report on field attachment carried out at Homa farms limited from 22nd August, 2022 to 14th October, 2022

Abstract

Homa farms limited was my training ground during the course of my training and I gained more skills and knowledge that I got involved in from the 22nd August, 2022 to 14th of October 2022. During my training, I participated in animal production whereby I managed to do activities like branding, spraying and disease treatment and diagnosis, brooding , fencing ear tugging, pasture improvement, deworming, feed formulation whereas under crop production I also managed to participate in the following activities spraying, pruning, staking fertilizer application, hybrid fertilizer making, compost manure making, soil sterilization, nursery bed preparation, weeding, transplanting, watering while at the farm and I came out with innovation like sack mold, kitchen garden and I planted one eucalyptus per hole.
