Abstract:
The contribution of tourism activities in the economic growth and development of the economy has significantly improved the industry because the performance of tourism industry in terms of economic development and growth is influenced by the type of tourism activities in tourism industry (Dagunduro et al., 2022; Oboh & Dabor, 2020). The study will be guided by theoretical underpinnings, as suggested by Gunn (1988). this theory assumes that to promote tourism contribution to economic development, an economy should denote the tourism tourists’ activities and product as a complex consumptive experience that results from a process where tourists use multiple of services more especially with the infrastructure like airport infrastructure, accommodation, and attraction services during the course of their visits.
