Industrial training report on both crop and animal production carried out under the project restoration of agricultural livelihood in northern Uganda component (RALNUC3) with Labongo Amida sub county, Kitgum district

Abstract

This report is based on the training that I carried cut as one of the requirements which is needed for the award of National Diploma in Crop Production and Management from Busitema university Arapai Campus. The activities that are in this report are carried out in the villages of Amida Sub County under the supervision of Mr Ogwang Brian. Chapter 1 of the report talks about the background of the organisation, objectives of the study and the structures of the organisation, Chapter2 discusses the attachment activities carried out during the trainings, and those activities includes training of farmers on good agronomic practices, demonstration on the spraying of maize against pests and diseases, selection of farmers for monitoring survey, row demonstration of cassava planting, vaccination of bulls against CBPP it also covered description of specific department of attachment. Description of the work place (station), task description, description of a typical working day and the mentoring situation. Chapter3 discuss the impact of the attachment: chapter4 discusses about conclusions and recommendation and the last bit talks about the appendices and the references.
