Industrial training report conducted in Franciscaan brothers in Adraa agricultural college.

Abstract

This field attachment took a duration of 10 weeks starting feb-10th may, 2022 at Adraa Agriculture College in the department of programs to enhance promoting sustainable agriculture practices and skills. I went through a lot of trainings in the different sections ranging from BDC, Livestock, Field crops, tree and nursery, demo plot, vegetable, ODP and Outreach program The objective of this industrial training was to expose me to practice hands-on skills acquired from classroom theoretically. This report contains the different enterprises in AAC and the different trainings I went through and obtained skills in self-empowerment, knowledge on how to interact with farmers, follow ups, meetings and getting to help themselves in outreach programs. Some of the skills include: tail docking, teeth clipping, grafting, budding, organic pesticides, hive inspection, honey, wax, and propolis processing, IMO, castration, feed formulation, assignments given to me to teach and assess students both practices and teaching the piggery unit among others.
