Impact of negative literary characters on behavioral development of students in the four selected schools.

Abstract

Taking an over view on rapid misbehaviour of students worldwide and literature being one of the biggest factor contributing to this therefore, this research work intends portray the interconnected facts about misbehaviour of students which include the key indicators such as selfishness and self-centered traits, unforgiving, arrogant, defiant or rude personality traits as well as sexual relationship. However much literary works influence students positively in one way or another as for example, offer different cultural backgrounds to students as we as there’s, expand their intellectual and behavioral development, language awareness as well as helping them in personality and social development, on another hand, it influences them negatively for instance, leads to increased need for luxuries, influence wrong personality, leads superiority and inferiority complex, increased cases of crimes. To control the above negativity of literature, the society plays the huge role since the students live within the social groups such as changing the community dynamics, reinforcement, educational, social and clinical support, restricting or eliminating access to negative literary works. In conclusion, the above are relatively the entire overview of negative literary characters on students who get exposed to them in this research work.
