My internship report for a training conducted at Kibimba factory from 9th, March,2022 to 21st, Aprill,2022.

Abstract

This industrial training report covers four chapters. Chapter one covers objectives of industrial training, location, brief historical background, organization structure, vision mission objectives and strategies of Tilda Uganda Ltd.

Chapter two covers the activities of Tilda Uganda Ltd which are machining of machine parts that are used for repair, replacement and modification. It also involves welding of broken machine parts. This section is essential in that if there is any delay of repair of any machinery that has a break down it leads to several losses to the company which include; Deuteration in production, Un even distribution of products. Dissatisfaction of customers due to un even distribution, Loss of morale of employees to work especially those work in field operations and milling section and other several factors. Chapter three is handling servicing and maintenance and servicing of machineries like tractors engines and light vehicles. This section also covers electrical shop which deals with charging of batteries and wiring of a tractor. This section is very essential in that it ensures that the machineries are in a good mechanical condition before carrying out any field operation like ploughing, planting, fertilizer application and transportation of paddy. These chapter also covers the rice processing section which involves activities like drying of paddy, milling packaging and labelling.

Chapter four deals with the coverage of the skills I acquired during my internship period while at Tilda Uganda Ltd. Knowledge and attitude. This chapter also encompasses challenges, conclusions and recommendation. Therefore, this report is essential in the follow up of the activities done in Tilda Uganda Ltd.
