Abstract:
Patient management is a key element in the health sector as it helps the medical personnel to deal
with patients in an orderly and timely manner, however, it is important to employ a well-designed
system that is efficient with less human intervention so that the patients and medical personnel
have the best experience while at the health facility and also in compliance with the standards of
the ministry of health. Adoption of automated systems will solve the difficulties in the manual
system that is currently being used in the different health centers in the country (Uganda).
This report addresses the problems encountered at the health centers III in Uganda and how the
implemented project solves them. The report can be quantified or classified into five chapters as
below:
Chapter one discusses the introduction, background, significance, problem statement, project
objectives and scope.
Chapter two discusses the literature review, related research, tools and materials used to carry out
the research project.
Chapter three discusses the methods used to achieve the main objective and specific objectives
of the research.
Chapter four discusses the results of the project.
Chapter five discusses the conclusions, challenges and recommendations for future work.
